MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN LEVEL 1
SUMMARY /OBJECTIVE - This role requires general preventative and reactive maintenance repairs on machines, tools, and other equipment through the adherence to safe and efficient methods.

- Perform basic equipment maintenance in compliance with preventative/predictive schedules.
- Maintain and repair machines, mechanical equipment, and building resources.
- Inspect and diagnose problems and figure out safest and most efficient means of correction, using blueprints, repair manuals, parts guides, etc. for guidance.
- Assemble and set up machinery and/or equipment as needed.
- Maintain work orders, PMs, asset inventory, & repair parts inventory in computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Respond to the ever-changing demands of the production department while maintaining a service oriented and helpful demeanor to Vendors, Customers, Co-workers and Outside Sales Representatives.
- Expedites the prompt resolution of employee, vendor and customer problems, questions, concerns, and discrepancies. Notifies the appropriate Integrity Fab & Machine, Inc. personnel of situations that are beyond the scope of responsibility level, including all feedback from Customers.
- Participate in a wide variety of special projects.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
- Become familiar with the operation of major capital equipment thru training, instruction & running production

Work Environment/Physical Demands - This job operates in a manufacturing shop environment with direct and frequent exposure to outside weather elements. Exposure to noise, chemicals, and materials consistent with a manufacturing environment is constant. This is a physically demanding position; maintaining the physical strength to lift materials up to 50 pounds, endure prolonged standing, dexterity, and stamina is necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work - This is a full-time or part-time position. This position is assigned to either a day or evening shift. Overtime work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel - This position requires minimal travel between businesses or to customer/vendor locations.

Required Minimum Education and Experience:
- High School diploma.
- Experience with general maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Three to five years of experience in a maintenance position.
- Must have the demonstrated ability to safely operate all material handling equipment, including fork trucks, overhead cranes, jib cranes, battery magnets, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- CNC Machine control troubleshooting/repair experience
- 10+ years as a Machine Repair Tech in a manufacturing environment

- Must have and maintain valid driver’s license and favorable driving record.
