About this Role:
AgroLiquid is now hiring for a Logistics Associate to join our Ashley, MI facility. This would be a full time position, working 40+ hours a week, working in the transportation office assembling load orders for shipment and running shipping reports. This is a first shift position Monday - Friday 8:00am-5pm, but hours vary during the busy season with possibilities of Saturday’s and overtime.

Logistics Associate Responsibilities:
- Successfully build trucking loads in the system by taking into account product weight, position, and DOT guidelines, while maximizing space and efficiency.
- Assist Logistics Coordinator in running daily transportation, shipping, and sales reports
- Answer multi-line phones while demonstrating professionalism and exceptional customer service to our clients and truck drivers.
- Provide information regarding delivery status, route information, etc.
- Build railcar loads in ERP System
- Keep rail load status current within ERP system
Logistics Associate Requirements:
- Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, or similar position where building loads, interacting with customers and truck drivers was required
- High School Diploma/GED
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service to internal and external customers
- Strong math skills - we handle bulk liquid inventory which requires working with numbers, measurements, etc. to ensure that items are appropriately scaled in the system
- Intermediate computer skills – Data Entry, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to stand; sit; lift; squat; stoop and move up to 25 pounds
- Driver’s License with good record
