What you'll be able to do:
Lead will work to bring data quality to front of mind for business users by presenting easily understood, accessible data quality information within the framework of the enterprise data catalog.
Expand their business knowledge, cross-functional collaboration skills, business intelligence acumen, and technical experience.
Understand data landscape and environments: sources, elements, update frequency, completeness, stewards/contacts, and platforms
Activate and democratize use of enterprise data assets through the Informatica tool stack, with a focus on data quality
Push the limits of off-the-shelf solutions by incorporating the best quality tools that the team develops from open source technology into the Informatica framework
Translates business requirements to build scalable, sustainable, efficient, coded processes that can be productionized and readily modified by other data engineers
Incorporates quality checks and alerts to minimize bad data being consumed by end users, models and dashboards; revises checks for data issues not previously identified
Work with data engineers and developers to make highly technical work visible and useful to end business customers
Awareness of and compliance with: data privacy, security, legal and contractual guidelines
Manages customer issue resolution and change control support with system or application upgrades, source changes, process enhancements, and requirements changes
The minimum requirements we seek:
Bachelor's degree
20+ years of experience in large enterprise data and data quality, including direct experience with at least two of the following:
Informatica tool stack (BDM, BDQ, EDC, etc)
HDFS, Hadoop v2, MapReduce, HDFS
Big Data tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Impala
Data integration involving multiple sources and platforms
Various ETL techniques and frameworks beyond Informatica - Data stage, Alteryx
