What does a great Business Analyst do?
A really great lending business analyst has a background in consumer loan originations and has already made the mental connection to what a mobile consumer needs and expects as an experience in obtaining credit from their bank or credit union - or through a merchant or professional who is making bank financing available to their customer.
A Business Analyst will work with a Product Manager and with focus groups, demonstrating and fleshing out the details that make our product stand out from the competition and truly satisfy our clients and their customers.
Digital Lending and Origination is on the leading edge of digital development, with exciting new product being developed every day. It is a team where you have the opportunity to help shape the tip of the spear.
Business Analysts work in front of the Agile Release Train to add detail and substance to the program backlog. You will work with clients who are early adopters or development partners in launching new features.
Business Analysts often choose to work toward further careers in Product Management, or join the Development group as part of an Agile Development Team, becoming Product Owners or Scrum Masters. You'll receive training in whatever discipline you choose to prepare you for further advancement.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration :
Associate Degree in relevant area of study
2 years' experience in the consumer lending industry
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical specifications to clients, developers and implementation teams
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education: .
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
Previous Business Analyst experience in a financial software/service development company
Travel required : Percentage/frequency of travel up to 20% (once COVID restrictions are lifted)
