Job Description
Develop test plans and schedules to meet program timing.
Prepare and conduct testing and evaluations (develop and / or review test setups, document and analyze issues).
Report weekly ADV status to laboratory leadership and partner with Subsystem Validation Engineer to report weekly in SMT Core PDT.
Support cost reduction initiatives and product improvement processes.
Collect and author best practices, lessons learned, and standard work.
Support ADV process to reduce hardware and to realize RLM (Road- Lab-Math) strategy.
Support validation activities in other regions through collaboration with local partners.
Partner with internal and external customers and suppliers to further component and subsystem development.
Analyzes and interprets resulting data from tests (resolves data anomalies).
Maintains frequent communication with customers.
Prepares formal written test reports.
Frequent contact with and active member of the assigned Product Development Team.
Additional Job Description
Bachelor of Science in engineering / engineering technology.
2+ years of professional engineering experience.
Strong interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with proven ability to build effective working relationships with business partners.
Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
Positive attitude and enjoys working with people.
High level of organizational, project management analytical ability.
Self-motivated with the ability to work with large organizations and multi-functional areas.
Knowledge of the Vehicle Development Process and other processes and systems such as PRTS Dynamic, Teamcenter, and VisMockup.
Familiar with vehicle serial communication, Controller Area Networks (CAN) and Vehicle Spy diagnostic tool (preferred).
