As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

We're looking for a Trust and Safety Security Analyst/Threat Hunter with expertise and passion in identifying, analyzing, and neutralizing malicious and abusive activity across our platform.
Responsibilities
Execute hunting exercises using a variety of data streams to detect and respond to anomalous behavior across the platform
Develop scripts and processes to improve detective capabilities and automation
Develop anomaly detection dashboards and reports to identify potential threats and suspicious activity
Create repeatable processes for continuous testing and monitoring of IOCs following a proven methodology that you help define
Research industry trends, identify ongoing security threats, analyze new security testing tools, and provide recommendations on the need and usefulness of such services and products
Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security solutions and technologies
Provide and receive input from product and platform management on options for meeting customer security needs
Support other security functions and teams to ensure holistic implementation of security controls, technologies, practices, and programs
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Information Assurance, Computer Security, Management Information Systems, Risk Management or related field
4 years of related security engineering or operations (SOC) work experience (monitoring, detection, incident response, forensics)
Ability to script/code using Python, Perl, or an equivalent language
Understanding of abuse and common security concerns and associated threat actor tactics, including spam, phishing, and commodity malware
Provide consultative analysis supporting customers with security concerns and understanding how they are using our services
Excellent written and verbal communications, including presentation skills
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, as well as customers and external parties
Be available on an on-call basis to respond to pending issues or problems arising during non-business hours and provide support and response
