We are seeking a Post Doctoral Research Fellow for the Department of Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering, College of Engineering. The duties and expectations of this position include carrying out research, participation in preparation of technical reports and papers related to research, and collaboration with other members of faculty research group engaged in related research. May also participate in instructional activities, in mentoring and supervising undergraduate and graduate students engaged in research activities.
The successful applicant will have a doctoral degree in naval architecture and marine engineering or in a related area. The candidate will have a demonstrated record of individual initiative and originality in research, strong quantitative and analytical skills, and the potential to become an independent academic researcher within two to three years.
