ResponsibilitiesWhat do our Ecommerce & Internal Customer Support do?
A successful Ecommerce & Internal Customer Support is a motivated self-starter who can work independently with a focus on results in achieving company business goals. Success includes planning, organizing, and selling the company’s product line within assigned branch coverage areas to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives while developing and enhancing client relationships within Target Specialty Products.
Essential duties and responsibilities may change, be replaced or added :
- Answer Phones, provide appropriate assistance.
- Order placement/ processing (email confirmation)
- COD payment processing if applicable (email confirmation)
- Signed confirmed material pick up documentation
- AR Status on account of past due invoices are indicated
- Input Orders through System or Web Order portal.
- Input Drop shipments through System or Web Portal.
- Identify backorders and assist with immediate fulfillment.
- Follow up with AR on all required sales order credit hold releases for shipment.
- RUP, input all required license information for customers seeking restricted items.
- Complete Sales Return orders within 48hrs.
- Report product shortages as indicated in the system to the RDC Manager
- Provide all customers,
- Order confirmations and tracking details
- Backorder delivery status
- Status of order
- Status of purchases for material requirements if applicable for Backorder
- AR status, copies of Invoices
- Assist customers with payments on accounts.
- Provide updated statements
- Receive and process all confirmed shipped -Drop shipments
- Receipts in system of vendor Invoice
- Processing of Sales order shipment in system
- Email confirmation of processed Invoice
- Ensure cleanliness of workstation and surrounding area
- Engage in continued education opportunities
- Report all accidents and near misses within 24hrs
- Report all OSHA related incidents within 6hrs
- Complete all required safety training
- Other duties, as assigned.

What do you need?
- High school diploma or GED
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent two-year diploma and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal, with an ability to listen to client needs so as to provide sound agronomic solutions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of company.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Spreadsheet software.
