The Department of Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences is searching for a data scientist/front-end developer who is a self-starter, problem solver, and cares about climate and energy to assist the Fastest Path to Zero Initiative. The succesful candidate will be responsible for database construction and testing using SQL, GIT, Javascript, D3.js, and CSS, building Greenfield web applications, data visualizations within mapping context using vector and raster sources, and reporting to funding agencies.
- Minimum of a BS is required
- Experience with Greenfield web applications
- Fluency of and/or ability to learn quickly:
- SQL

- Javascript

- CSS
- Data visualizations within mapping context using vector and raster sources
- Self-starter
