10411BRMid-Level:Commercial Marketing Work Location:AUTOMOTIVE CENTERJob Description:The Sales Support Specialist is the primary contact with our processing partner network and customer receiving locations for all inventory management related activity to achieve both delivery service excellence and maximize supply chain efficiency for the customer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Maintain customer forecasted releases through demand manager forecast system.
•Primary contact with customer receiving locations, providing status updates and soliciting feedback as needed.
•Work closely with company supply planning team to ensure delivery and availability of material at productions facilities and processing partners.
•Provide work instructions and priorities to processing partners for timely finishing of material for delivery.
•Release material and ensure delivery based on requirements from the customer.
•Performs root cause analysis for each inventory variance to ensure all exception issues are being addressed with corrective action.
•Follows the control process to assure proper implementation and accountability exists throughout the supply chain, including areas of optimal freight, outside processing cost and inventory targets.
•Provides an outstanding service experience for the customer.
REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, finance, marketing or a closely related field.
•At least two years of experience in a supply chain management or related role.
•Demonstrated ability to work collaborative in a matrix environment.
•Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
•Great attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
