Position Summary
The Department of Teacher Education at Michigan State University is seeking outstanding candidates for anticipated fixed-term (non-tenure stream) faculty positions in support of our teacher preparation in Chicago. These are primarily part-time positions with the possibility that some may be full time (one year appointments) based upon applicant qualifications and program needs. Responsibilities include field instruction with 5th year interns and assisting with the administration of the teacher preparation program.

Required Degree
Doctorate -Advanced Degree in relevant field
Minimum Requirements
An advanced degree in a relevant field (Ast Prof-Doctorate, Instructor-Master''s, Ast Instructor-Bachelor''s), appropriate k-12 teaching and school experience or relevant college-level teaching; evidence of scholarly and professional contributions to state/national professional associations, and leadership in regional or national professional development or curriculum projects.
