Work with cross-functional teams to study new requirements and techniques of development and carrying out a constructive quality check phase to deliver a defect free product for OEMs. Develop test plans and strategies to test all regular and edge case scenarios and create required test design documents to monitor the plan. Create test suites for all quality check phases and assign validations to each team member to carry out. Monitor/triage production issues to identify root causes. Participate in requirement grooming sessions to discuss possible gaps in requirements and capture the effort required for carrying out the quality engineering activities. Identify defect areas and work with the right teams to get them resolved and monitor and retest the fixes to ensure nothing else has been affected by the fixes. Keep track of deadlines and monitor production progress as well as address roadblocks as they emerge. Report the daily status and progress to leads and managers. Build performance load tests infrastructure for an enterprise scale platform.
Education: Master – Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management or a related field of study; will accept equivalent foreign degree;
Experience: One (1) year in the position above or in a related quality assurance engineering role;
Experience must include:
1. Gathering client requirements to develop test plans, construct mock data and model test execution strategy.
2. Developing testing solutions to find software defects and ensure quality build prior to production release.
3. Performing software quality testing, including system, functional, UI, backend regression, and user acceptance testing.
4. Quality Center, Jira, or a similar tool for defect reporting and analysis.
Location: Multiple undetermined worksites throughout the U.S.
