The Research Administrator I supports investigators and staff through the entire grant and contract proposal submission process. In this role, you will facilitate the administration of a varied portfolio of sponsored awards. Responsibilities include: * Independently support and assit investigators through the entire proposal submission process * Manage competing priorities while providing excellence in customer service to internal and external customers * Ensure activity records are accurate, appropriately organized, and recorded in a timely manner * Assist in the development of the documentation of protocol, templates and additional resources * Read, interpret, disseminate and/or apply federal and other sponsor guidelines and regulatory documents * Work collaboratively with individuals throughout the institution to further the research portfolio for St. Jude * Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a business or a related field * Two (2) years of grants and contracts, IRB, IACUC, research administration or related experience in a business or legal environment is required
