SUMMARY: Manufacture products utilizing primary and secondary processing equipment or hand assembly; Following all procedures and work instructions, achieve optimal productivity, quality, and safety assuring internal and external customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but will not be limited to:
Adherence to all company policies and procedures
Assure product meets established quality criteria of zero non-conformances
Communicate production and quality issues/concerns with associates during staff meetings
Correctly record scrap every hour per work instructions
Correct application of all internal and external labels when requires, including removal of all old labels from returnable packaging
Correct application of lot control numbers
Immediately notify Production Supervisor of all discrepancies to established quality checks or any condition identified to be out of the normal operating condition
Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas
Operate molding press/equipment per Company procedures
Participate in team problem solving activities (communication meetings, shift meetings, etc.,) and continuous improvement activities
Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety and environmental procedures
Review all applicable quality alerts daily
Review job standards before trimming parts
Review job standards before running production
Trim the flash from the mold manually and/or using scissors
Wear required PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, close toed shoes/boots with rubber sole base)
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10 and 100
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions finished in written, oral, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
