Based in Saginaw, St. Mary’s of Michigan is a regional health system offering high quality care in cardiovascular, neurosciences, orthopedics, emergency and trauma, cancer, bariatrics, imaging diagnostics, and primary care. A part of Ascension since 1999, we offer 268 beds and over 20 specialty centers to provide access and care for people from over 70 counties.
The CNA/Ward Clerk assists with basic patient care activities.
Assists with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
Assists patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Assists with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
Records medical, nursing and administrative information in accordance with established charting and documentation policies and procedures.
Provides administrative support to unit, and delivers mail and messages to patients and residents.
Assists with admissions, transfers, discharges, and various record keeping duties.
Certified Nurse Aide credentialed from the Michigan Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
One or more of the following:
BLS Provider specializing in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
