Temporary person to work in Shipping Dept. to cover for an employee that will be off on medical leave (estimated time off 1 – 2 months).
This is a 1st shift position, hours are 6am – 2pm (subject to change for the Dept. needs) overtime is a probability as we are very busy right now.
Person needs to have a valid drivers license and have Hi-Lo experience.
Experience with a CPU scanner is also helpful.
Job Summary:
Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Accurately stages, validates loads and ships product.
- Accurately creates ASN’s and Bills of Ladings with shipments.
- Performs customer cum validations.
- Ensures proper label on product.
- Receives material against purchase order.
- Validates quality and quantity of goods received.
- Responsible to get parts/product/material to proper storage area.
- Completes records verifying material identify, count, weight, routing, etc.
- Responsible for accurate cycle counts.
- Capable of performing functions of Material Handler position.
