Sr BSA - DG Program Steward Specialist – Accountable for DG operations across PH by coordinating with embedded data governance resources, leads best practice development, education, communication and adoption.
BSA/Sr.BSA - DG Knowledge Sharing Analyst – Responsible for the development of knowledge repository policies, practices and standards. Works to engage stakeholders through education and mentoring to drive program adoption and maturity. Leads effort to organize data sets enabling the reuse of data.
BSA/Sr. BSA - DG Trusted Data Analyst – Responsible for the development of data quality policies, practices and standards. Oversees evolution of data maturity per data domain. Monitors resolution of data quality issues. Proposes use cases and DQ fixes to DG leaders.
We’re seeking a collaborative and self-starting individual who will serve as a liaison between all business stakeholders, end-users and technical resources to promote the use of data assets. This highly influential role will interact with all levels of the organization to guide the development and maturing of the data governance program that ensures the usage of data assets to drive a positive value proposition.
This individual will lead cross-departmental work groups to manage the creation, implementation, adoption and maturity of Data Governance processes and technology. Individual will be responsible for positively influencing data related decisions and perceptions of the data governance program through education and communication to bring overall adoption of program strategies and objectives. Successful leadership will require the understanding the value and business criticality of establishing decision rights and accountabilities related to data management. The Senior Steward serves as a process expert and provides training and support to the Data Governance community. The position requires the ability to articulate concepts and initiatives to internal and external audiences of all levels, implement the solutions, and track and monitor progress.
Responsibilities include
- Promote data asset usage through development and facilitation of data governance initiatives working with all levels of the data governance community.
- Support program objectives by defining and measuring success and continuing to collect feedback and adjust based on these measures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between disparate teams in the use of data by promoting knowledge sharing best practices and standards like Business Glossaries, Data Dictionaries and Business Process’s.
- Leading Community of Practice (CoP) group(s) to drive the maturity of knowledge sharing and trusted data
- Provide support to data teams in the development of new data assets and the enhancement of existing data assets.
- Facilitate the identification and usage of subject matter experts and best practices in support of data quality initiatives.
- Maintain a roadmap for Data Governance maturity through independent research and collaboration with internal and external parties.
- Maintain tool use proficiency and program best practices through independent study, vendor research, participation in professional organizations, attending conferences, and viewing webinars.
- Manage the design and documentation of Data Governance Office operations, processes used by all levels of the Stewardship Community, and end user level procedures for tool use.
- Manage the product backlog of business needs to facilitate the delivery of the highest value minimum viable product.
- Assure performance Data Governance tools through business case and application level testing.
- Draft, deploy, and maintain Data Governance related policies and guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:
Education - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Experience - 5 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in in the field
Preferred Qualifications:
Education - Master's Degree or equivalent
Experience - 7 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in including experience formulating and defining systems scopes and objectives Experience in systems development lifecycle including, requirements gathering and design Participant in multiple phases of an integrated system implementation Background in health care, sciences or information systems
