Inspect precision mechanical parts for conformance to specifications such as dimensions, geometric tolerances and surface finish using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial bore gauges, calipers, optical comparator, and bench centers with dial indicator.
Assemble precision mechanical components including angular contact bearings in a clean room type environment using hand tools and arbor press.
Make small corrections to precision parts by deburring using files, emery and scotch brite.
Use aqueous wash tank to clean precision mechanical parts prior to inspection and assembly.
Accuracy in measuring tolerances, dimensions and conformance to specifications required.
At least 2 years experience performing essential duties (similar to above) with minimal supervision and a High school Diploma or GED required.
