The Manufacturing Process Engineer - Senior will perform process engineering activities, including simultaneous engineering, project management, plant launch support, process continuous improvement, and other product/process assurance planning activities.
Qualifications:• Minimum of a Bachelors degree preferred in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Engineering Technology or related technical field and min of 10 years related experience.
Knowledge, development and implementation of BIW Automatic process equipment
• 6+ years work experience in a manufacturing environment, with some knowledge of current engine plant manufacturing processes, technology and tooling and equipment activities.
• Excellent knowledge of TeamCenter/NX (Vis Pro, Vis Mock up and Vis Jack) and Advanced Manufacturing Planning System (AMPS).
• Some exposure to simultaneous engineering with product and/or process engineering suppliers.
• Must possess some experience and knowledge of Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) equipment.
• Experience in Mitsubishi/Siemens/Fanuc PLC/CNCs/HMI/Servo
• Experience and working knowledge of statistical process control tools, computer and software systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with a variety of people at all levels within the organization.
• Self-directed team oriented with demonstrated planning/problem solving skills/equipment troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage a project from beginning to end meeting project budget and timing targets
• Ability to manage multiple projects at same time working in a fast paced challenging environment
