The City of Marquette is accepting applications for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic. Applicants must be Michigan Fire Fighter I and II certified and possess a State of Michigan paramedic license. Probationary firefighters must obtain Red Cross waterfront lifeguard certification within one year of hire.
The salary for a probationary firefighter is $42,913/year, includes a generous benefit package and salary step increases at 12 and 24 months. The current full Firefighter/Paramedic wage is $53,300.
