Training for this position includes a video prior to first day cleaning with a test after. The test needs to be passed with an 80% or better to be considered for hire. Once the test has been completed the employee will be assigned work shifts during which the team leader for the day will train the employee to clean meeting company standards. During this probationary period the employee will make minimum wage. Each day the employee will be paid drive time for the first full hour worked.
Once a new employee has been adequately trained (as determined by the team leaders) the employee with be removed from training and be eligible for raises.
When an employee uses their vehicle to drive the team they record the mileage and receive 41 cents per mile reimbursement in the current week’s paycheck. Gingerly Clean also pays each employee that has a working cell phone (every day of that week) $5 on each weeks check.
Hours: Monday-Friday need to be available 8:20 a.m. - 5 p.m., but will typically end before 5 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday TBD by cleanings needed. Night work TBD by cleanings needed.
Gingerly Clean values parents and guardians of young children. We do not have a set policy of absences but look more carefully at the responsibility of the employee. Once you have completed a probationary period you will not be penalized for calling in for illness (yourself or child) unless you abuse the privilege. You may be asked for doctor slips if you frequently call in. Gingerly Clean tries to be flexible around pre scheduled appointments and recognizes employees that try to accommodate the company’s needs as well.
