We are in search of a qualified and resourceful solid HR generalist to support our HR department in ensuring a smooth and efficient business operations. The HR generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping us to plan and administer important functions in the areas of compensation and benefits, staffing, training and development. Key Responsibilities:
- Primarily responsible for the adequate administration of compensation and benefits.
- Process weekly and semi-monthly payroll for both salaried and production hourly employees.
- Update employee's files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay, importing expense reimbursements, inputting exceptions, hourly employee validations, and all benefit changes.
- Assist in the development, communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, policies and procedures, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies and procedures.
- Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
- Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
- Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization, and to improve employee experience.
- Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Three – Five years of progressively responsible HR Management experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
