Role:
The Lead Launch Electrical Coordinator role is the keyperson at Launch to support the plant for First-Time pass rates. This personwill lead the launch electrical team and be responsible for the implementationof all electrical Bill of Operations elements.
Responsibilities:
• Complete requiredtraining at various sites around GM and suppliers travel required
• Lead the launchelectrical team ensuring compliance to the Electrical Bill of Operationsstandards
• Lead weeklyleadership reviews
• Support launchactivities for a major program and travel as required
• Participate invirtual builds/reviews for applicable Program Virtual Assessment gates
• Host/supportIn-Plant Wiring Assessments
• Support plantreadiness for builds
• Document lessonslearned for process and product improvements.
• Create actionableitems from electrical failures to enable issue documentation and follow up.
• Utilizes theplant quality reporting systems
• Reports pass rateperformance for all applicable in-plant testing systems and lead correctiveaction plans.
• Conduct trainingof vehicle electrical systems for Team Leaders
• Lead disconnectworkshop during launch to develop a database for repair faults
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 yearsprevious experience with automotive electrical sub-systems
• Strong interpersonaland team-building skills
• Strong writtenand oral communication skills
• Self-motivated

• Must be able todelegate and empower the team
• Must be able tohelp root cause highly complex issues and work well with Product and AVGEngineers and then translate executive summaries to non-technical people
- Associates degree, Technical Trade School or equivalentexperience
Desired Skills:
ASE or state certification
• Prior Launchexperience
• 3+ years ofexperience in an assembly plant
• Thorough workingknowledge of GMS and BIQ4 deliverables
• Prior experiencein Plant Operations including Production and/or Quality
• Bachelor's /Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
