Position Summary
Prepares patients for medical cross-sectional computerized tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological, psychological, and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues. Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift. Assists in and facilitates employee development.
Basic Qualifications:
Education - Associate's Degree or equivalent or equivalent years of experience in related field
Experience - 2 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in CT experience
Licenses -
Computerized Tomography (CT) upon hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
Preferred Qualifications:
Education - Bachelor's Degree
