We're looking to add an experienced Marketing Director to our team! As the Marketing Director, you will collaborate with other leaders to create and drive the marketing strategy of each brand under Convivial Brands.
Who We Are:
It all started 35 years ago with just one brand - Design Design - which strived to create connections with people by sharing friendship, love, and memories with friends and family via greeting cards. Since then, we've expanded, launched additional brands, and challenged limits. Convivial Brands is now made up of five brands - Design Design, Verdant Graphics, Style Life, The High Five GR, and Tableau. The Position:
- Strategizes with the VP of Marketing to execute the vision of the organization from a marketing standpoint.
- Understands all areas within marketing, including B2B digital and traditional marketing needs, D2C digital and traditional marketing needs, Social Media platforms, and traditional print marketing.
- Maintains an understanding of the "brand" and how to create a community surrounding a brand purpose internally and externally.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge in building social media platforms for multiple businesses simultaneously.
- Forges and sustains effective partnerships with all departments to create a company-centric approach to enhance marketing effectiveness.
- Sets, manages, and executes overall marketing team budget.
- Effectively utilizes available resources and understands when to utilize internal versus external resources.
- Creates a system to effectively measure results, metrics, and communicate direction to increase reach, sales success, and brand awareness.
- Acts as the "organization champion" within the marketing team, increasing buy-in, morale, and productivity within the marketing department.
- Acts as a strategist to determine the organization's direction from a marketing perspective, while keeping the big picture in mind.
- Understands sales needs, clients needs, and customer needs and uses that knowledge bring client visions to life through expert storytelling and grow revenue.
- Acts as liaison between the client and the department.
- Finds innovative and best solutions to market Convivial Brands' products, services, and mission via digital and traditional marketing.
- Ensures all campaigns for each client supports the global marketing strategy per brand.
- Develops and implements goals per department, troubleshooting and removing roadblocks.
- Band management - determines and executes the best target consumer for each brand; drives the ideation, creation, and audits of marketing needs of each brand; develops, tweaks, and executes core brand messaging; creates brand awareness and brand continuity and builds a community around the brands through marketing efforts; and builds sustainable processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness for each brand.
- Digital marketing - creates and implements SEO strategies, brand awareness strategies, and organic reach strategies to increase visibility; advocates to drive cost-effective and results-oriented strategies to grow the organization's digital media presence and create and online community; reviews and builds KPIs and drives results; leads content development efforts; maintains up to date knowledge to remain a major resource in the ever-changing world of digital marketing; and partners with key leaders to understand each brand's needs.
- Traditional marketing - reviews KPIs and drives results; creates traditional marketing campaigns to drive sales through outbound sales efforts such as prospecting, mailers, etc.; coordinates the creative and art direction of photoshoots to create more impactful imagery, yield greater content usability across platforms, and enhance the brand perception; review, adjust, and execute catalog process to improve efficiency; work with Verdant Graphics to create solutions for sales; and parter with kep leaders to understand each brand's needs.
- Performs market research and data analysis.
- Leads, manages, and holds the marketing team accountable. Builds and grows effective internal teams. Supports, encourages, coaches, and maintains accountability to ensure success for the team members and for the organization.
