Summary:
The Human Resource Director shall be responsible as the top HR professional in the organization. It will be your job to oversee: benefits, recruiting, training and talent development, retention, hiring and onboarding, compliance with all federal and state laws, payroll, lead market compensations reviews for HQ and divisions, supporting remote locations, managing and leading HR Managers, and supporting the board and executive team with mergers & acquisitions including talent reviews, and integration. This position will also be responsible for selecting and implementing a new HRIS tool.
General Duties:
• Development, implementation, and monitoring of suitable tools, strategies, processes and measures as a provider of competitive, market leading, and an innovative leader in this segment
• Ensuring the quality of sound HR services through this enterprise and their future acquisitions
• Leading and Supporting our employees as well as ensuring their training, qualifications, promotions, and professional development
• Promote and create a customer-oriented thinking Human Resource function across the enterprise
• Support and advice line managers, executive management, board members, and other stakeholders on all personnel questions, and problems
• Maintain and improve personnel policy within the framework of the company strategy
• Review, adjust, and implement the principles, objectives, and provide appropriate tools, processes, and measures for personnel management, personnel marketing, recruitment, employee evaluations and talent development, oversee market driven compensation, and social performance
• Help to create and continually develop statistical evaluations of personnel costs, training, education/curriculum costs as a management instrument for future development and action plans
• Ensure compliance with labor standards and applicable laws
• Research and lead the process with external experts to ensure compensation and benefits are competitive with peer companies in this industry segment, region and provide guidance for setting wages, bonuses and other measures to attract and retain key talent
• Oversee the processing wages, salaries, and insurance funds
• Serve as an expert advisor for future acquisitions in the terms of diligence, talent review and successful integrations
• Lead the selection and implementation of a comprehensive HRIS tool
• Support and advise on best practices for top performing/high potentials in their career development and retention
• Ensure that new hire orientation and training is best in class and engages new hires successfully with the integration of company culture and excitement
• Promoting and developing leadership training programs which enhances employee relations and offers employee support for staff members
• Coordinates employee and contractor training efforts for Safety and ISO Certifications with the teams responsible for quality, safety and facilities
• Advise and innovate for new ways to measure employee morale and determine methods to improve and evolve the enterprise
• Act as a liaison between the company and outside legal, and professional resources to ensure that all employment policies follow current laws and regulations. Understand and steward the adherence of company compliance, confidentiality and safety regulations/policies, and help to identify and resource any concerns and issues.
