A day in the life of the Manager, Consumer Relationship is never the same but, in this role, you will be responsible to manage and/or develop the consumer engagement strategies, tactics and metrics to ensure growth in key consumer segments by overseeing the execution of consumer and loyalty and e-commerce programs and communications while working closely with external vendors and internal cross-functional departments. Also responsible to act as a key resource for marketing data management and monitoring promotional and consumer relationship management (CRM) trends.
What You’ll Do:
•Manage and provide support for the consumer marketing programs (i.e., customer relationship management, loyalty programs, e-commerce, shopper marketing) processes and systems. Work with marketing and merchandising to manage internal and external communication platforms and to streamline and ensure the successful implementation and execution of consumer marketing programs.
•Collaborate with vendors, merchants, and internal departments to prepare and deliver consumer marketing solutions to increase consumer engagement, enhance the customer experience and to ensure an understanding of customer needs; provide recommendations, insight and support to consumer marketing strategies.
•Participate in the development of, and manage assigned consumer and loyalty marketing strategies, programs, processes and deliverables; work cross functionally with internal departments, external vendors and/or customers to develop the calendar timelines/deliverables and communications, manage such through execution of the programs.
•Develop and manage loyalty and consumer marketing activities for retail banners and ensure successful implementation of promotional activities, store events, trade shows, etc. and provide support to company-owned retail locations regarding the Company’s loyalty initiatives.
•Provide project leadership to support loyalty marketing, e-commerce, consumer marketing and shopper marketing strategies, programs, activities and initiatives, including key projects and support of distribution loyalty marketing efforts.
•Manage the development and execution of internal and external communication platforms that will ensure the successful execution of the consumer marketing programs internally, externally (vendor community) and with the consumer. Build and manage effective working relationships with internal across functional department and external vendors.
•Partner with internal and/or external data analytics team(s) to oversee the analysis, metrics, reporting and data management of related marketing campaigns to ensure effectiveness of programs; make recommendations for changes based on the review of such information.
•Responsible for department management including staffing, training, performance management and career development of associates, and developing and monitoring department goals. Develop and monitor department budget as required.
•Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best Marketing practices; make recommendations to improve current programs and processes. Act as a key resource to monitor consumer, promotional and CRM trends for new innovations and emerging technologies to build the consumer relationship with the organization.
•Manage the day to day operations and department planning for the company’s e-commerce properties (e.g. website, mobile apps, marketing campaigns, etc.). Monitor the performance of the e-commerce initiatives (advertising analytics, social sentiment, etc.); oversee the analysis of the initiatives and research/recommend improvements to enhance company’s e-commerce sales growth.

•Bachelor's Degree (Required) Marketing, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
•Five years in Marketing/Consumer Marketing, Merchandising or related area.
•2 years supervisory/management experience.
