12 Month Contract via Kelly Services
Description:
Capital project engineer and Electrical/Instrumentation subject matter expert
Responsibilities:
Conduct work in a manner consistent with Clients Core Values.
Key contributor in leading the development of Front-End Loading packages for projects up to$10MM.
Contribute to developing project execution plans.
Project risk analysis and development of mitigation plans for risks.
Work closely with the Sites, Manufacturing Technology organization and DuCAP resources to execute FEL engineering activities.
Contributes to the team in identifying non-cap alternatives or lower capital options, using the appropriate VCP's, following best practices
Mentor others in the Electrical and Instrumentation discipline.
Lead minor capital projects following the work flows.
Qualifications:
5 to 10 years of experience with Capital Project Execution of at least $5 Million USD required.
More than 10 years' experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in electrical/instrumentation engineering or equivalent experience
Experience with "Owner Role" project execution methodology.
Strong interpersonal skills, communications, team skills & ability to collaborate and develop "Win/Win" solutions.
Ability to focus on big picture, but capability to deal with details when needed.
Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of process controls is a plus.
