The Senior Program Management Analyst shall perform research for the Department of Army Systems Coordinator (DASC), PEO Ground Combat Systems, and ASA (ALT) leadership regarding cost, schedule, risk, economic, and technical issues affecting successful
program execution that will aid the decision making process.
Essential Job Functions:
The Senior Program Management Analyst shall establish, facilitate, and maintain close liaison coordination with PEO GCS, Major Army
Commands (MACOMs), supporting staffs, and systems contractors.
Shall consult with ASA (ALT) Senior Leadership and provide recommendations to the project/program office to resolve conflicting issues between HQDA and PEO GCS for the purpose of ensuring aligned and synchronized positions on acquisition issues.
Requirements
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Master’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior military experience.
Active Secret U.S. DoD security clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance.
Has held leadership positions and/or operations staff experience at the Battalion level or higher (Preferably ground combat vehicle system experience).
Level III Certified in Program Management.
Has a minimum of 3 years of experience as a member of Army Acquisition Corps.
Understanding of project timelines, schedule dependencies and critical paths.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience with DoD vehicle engineering, integration and fielding efforts.
Experience working with TACOM, PM and PEO offices within the Army Materiel Command.
Understanding of the Army acquisition process.
Familiarity with DoD ground combat vehicles.
Possess PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP) credential.
