Job Summary:
The Hardware/Software Project Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of the hardware and SW for the battery management system and related electronics systems. Deliveries should meet customer, electronic and manufacturing timing plans. PM should work closely with the Technical Project Lead, the pack Program Manager and Customer to capture delivery dates and content.

Create manage and track project vehicles for the embedded software and hardware development, including:
Project schedules
Detailed project plans
Project scope statements
Resource plans
Risk and issues logs
Status reports
Manage the day to day activities of projects and staff; communicate with project teams as necessary to ensure project deliverables are on schedule.
Communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers as needed in regards to project deliverables including managing expectations.
Make recommendations to management about schedules, prioritization and resource allocation with input from team members.
Work with technical leads to accurately estimate additional work associated with customer/internally driven Engineering Change Requests
Provide timely program updates to management and other program team members
Interface with customer both to negotiate delivery schedules and requirements
Interface with validation and verification to accurately assess HW and SW status
Interface with program management to ensure HW and SW is meeting overall program timing
Able to quickly sort out resource problems, and accurately / efficiently assign work products to appropriate individuals.
