CALIBRE Systems Inc, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions company, is looking for a Canadian Ex-Military Automotive Technical Recruiter. The Canadian Ex-Military Automotive Technical Recruiter is responsible for supporting the Canadian Ex-Military automotive talent recruiting goals of the Industry Management Services (IMS) Directorate within the Human Capital Management (HCM) Division. The position provides direct management level support to CALIBRE’s automotive industry technical recruiting and human resource (HR) management services delivery. The Canadian Ex-Military Automotive Technical Recruiter assesses and anticipates client talent management for Jaguar Land Rover Canada Retailers throughout the Canadian Provinces; provides project management of the delivery of technical recruiting services; and personnel management of a team of technical recruiting professionals. This key position requires frequent and proactive communication of client and services delivery team needs; proactive and routine engagement with the IMS and HCM leadership, and Jaguar Land Rover North America; and, the production and management of project delivery status and financial management reports. The Canadian Ex-Military Automotive Senior Technical Recruiter will assist the IMS Director and the technical recruiting team with developing and delivering integrated talent management solutions; coordinating corporate CALIBRE technical support; and assist with the production of client proposals as required. This position is U.S. based, and the selected individual will work within the United States of America, but will be required to travel periodically to Canada (various locations).

- Technical Expertise- The ability to leverage a diverse level of human capital management and recruiting technical expertise to deliver a superior client experience;
- Communications – The ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts and how they add value to proposed and delivered client solutions. Must be capable of managing and supporting a diverse group of people (clients, employees, management, subcontractors, and other stakeholders) with competing interests and priorities;
- Personnel Management – Must be skilled in team-building and team supervision. Must demonstrate the ability to prescribe standards and performance expectations and enforce them; ability to coach/mentor, develop, and train subordinate team members; and, the ability to work closely with peers to reach common goals and objectives.
Required Experience
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following experience:
- 5 or more years of technical recruiting experience within the US or Canadian automotive industry;
- 3 or more years of technical recruiting on a regional or national basis;
- 5 or more years processing and safeguarding personally identifiable information (PII) without incident;
- 5 or more years of active military service In the Canadian Armed Forces (preferred) or in the U.S. Armed Forces (U.S. military service requires extensive experience training with the CAF);
- 3 or more years of requesting, tracking, and processing background check requests;
- A thorough understanding of Military Discharge Documents;
- A thorough understanding of Canadian Armed Forces occupational ratings, assignments, qualifications, and training guidelines;
- A proven familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
- A proven history of creating and editing PDF documents;
- Hold a current U.S. Passport.
Desired:
- 3 years of automotive industry recruiting in support of retail dealership or vocational technical school talent placement operations;
- 3 or more years of applicant tracking system administration;
- 2 or more years of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) automotive client experience in Canada;
- 2 or more years of project management experience;
- Bachelor’s Degree.
