Position Title: MRI Technologist
General Summary: Under general supervision, obtain high quality magnetic resonance images using a magnetic resonance imaging scanner, which includes preparing patients, positioning, setting imaging parameters, and performing computer processing and displaying images. Assists in developing protocol for patient studies. Performs quality control procedures on equipment.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Must demonstrate Beaumont standards: Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence.
Part time, afternoon position. Every third weekend. Some Holidays.
Requirements: Mustbe registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(ARRT) in Radiography and advanced registered or registry eligible forthe advanced ARRT registry in MRI. Two years of experience inRadiography is recommended but not mandatory. Must maintain the requiredhours of continued education. Healthcare Provider certificationrequired. (BCLS)
Mustbe proficient in all basic MRI exams and have the ability to problemsolve. Must be professional, friendly, and able to work with individualsoutside of Radiology.
