Responsible for overseeing the provision of the best possible customer support and satisfaction, as well as the execution of acquisition and project coordination in consultation with the relevant superior; lead the establishment and maintenance of personal contacts with customers; oversee the development and implementation of company processes and measures to achieve the departmental goals; oversee the monitoring of the market situation, competitor activities, customer requirements, and market trends in order to retain and extend market shares in the long-term; direct the survey of competitor activities, proposals of project prioritization, and the analysis of customer technical requirements to deliver optimal quality within the outlined budget; lead a continuous, systematic compilation and analysis of customer preferences, customer requirements, and customer expectations on the basis of customer contact, customer service, and customer satisfaction; utilize SAP, GE-Fit, Lander, IPC, SDM, Data Warehouse, customer portals, to perform duties; direct the provision of support to global customers and global Hella companies, and important strategic sites in order to retain serial contracts, win new orders, and secure and/or improve sales/profit margin; direct the provision of advisory support to customers and involve Hella specialist departments when necessary, and the provision of technical and commercial presentations to customers to ensure customer satisfaction; responsible for quoting and managing new product and engineering changes with suppliers and customers; participation of the company at fares and trade shows; oversee acquisition activities in accordance with agreed strategies considering effects on the regions, the creation of quotations to win new projects, and the formation of prices with business divisions and regions; oversee project negotiation to ensure defined conditions are respected by both parties, contract conditions are met by Hella; provide support in the implementation of acquisition strategies to support new business, and for commercial management and coordination of customer accounts in the automotive industry; utilize negotiation techniques with suppliers and customers; use processes and procedures to support engineering, purchasing, sales and supplier quality related to the automotive industry; direct the initiation and termination of in-house developments, product-specific rationalization and value-creation measures, to present and implement technical solutions at the customer site with optimal results; direct the maintenance of the sales databases, MDB, CDB, customer portals, change management, internal cost life cycle, tracking of special direct costs (SEK) in on-going projects, price maintenance tool, and the implementation of any modifications in collaboration with other internal departments; support the manufacture and assemblies of electronic components and finished goods; oversee commercial management of customer accounts; use knowledge of OEM development, sourcing and launch processes, as well as new product launch’s procedures and requirements for the automotive industry, to perform duties; maintain and develop customer relationships, including Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, Supplier Quality and other areas of customer management in order to support new business development while sustaining current business; align and work with global teams (Sales, Project Management and Engineering); coordinate and manage current projects with HELLA manufacturing plants as well as other corporate manufacturing sites, such as Engineering, Purchasing, Project Management, Supplier Quality and General Management; oversee Customer Management development, maintenance and coordination; and maintain relevant account information in reporting using internal reporting tools Market Database and Salesforce.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Masters – Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Sales Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Purchasing Manager, as a Commodity Buyer, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements: Must have two (2) years experience with all of the following: manufacture and assemblies of electronic components and finished goods; SDM; negotiation techniques with suppliers and customers; processes and procedures to support engineering, purchasing, sales and supplier quality related to the automotive industry; OEM development, sourcing and launch processes; new product launch’s procedures and requirements for the automotive industry; quoting and managing new product and engineering changes with suppliers and customers; internal reporting tools Market Database and Salesforce; and implementation of acquisition strategies to support new business.
