Northwest Michigan Works! is seeking a training and education coordinator to assist in the planning, implementation and management of apprenticeship programs in Northwest Michigan. In this exciting role you will work directly with employers and educational providers to facilitate the development and maintenance of apprenticeship programs across a wide range of industries and occupations. On the job learning is provided.
Responsibilities, Duties and Functions will include:
- Develop and implement customized training programs for employers
- Collaborate with education and training providers
- Support apprentices throughout their program
- Maintain relationships with employers
- Conduct community outreach including public presentations
- Work closely with the Northwest Michigan Works! Business and Career Services Teams
- Capture, manage and report data
- Frequent in-region day travel required

Compensation:
This full time professional position is entitled to a generous and competitive fringe benefit package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Paid vacation and sick time, company paid retirement contribution, and use of agency vehicle.
Annual salary is $40,000
