At Stryker, hiring the best talent is our top priority. Our TA mission is; Together with our hiring teams, we enable Stryker’s mission through delivery of top diverse talent. We are now looking for talent for our high performance Talent Acquisition team.
The Inbound Recruiter will be hiring for our exempt level R&D roles across Stryker US. This recruiter will review and conducts the initial screening of candidates in the active talent pipeline. The Recruiter passes qualified candidates to the Talent Acquisition Business Partner for further consideration. The primary scope of this position is exempt roles across the U.S.
· Reviews candidate applications and conducts initial screening against job qualifications
· Familiar with attraction and sourcing techniques
· Conducts assessment screening
· Progresses qualified candidates and presents them to the Talent Acquisition Business Partner
· Dispositions unqualified candidates and provides feedback
· Supports the execution of the defined functional area recruitment strategy
· Supports optimization of the Applicant Tracking System to manage candidates and ensure data integrity
· Searches for viable candidates in the ATS, including the Talent Network and My Supply
· May attend job fairs, university events or other recruiting venues as requested
· Contributes to department Social Media efforts (e.g. contributes to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc)
· Supports continuous improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies
· Develops business acumen in functional area and of med/tech industry
Compliance
· Follows the recruitment process to ensure compliance with company policies, practices, and employment legislation
· Ensure recruitment efforts are conducted in a manner that is unbiased and compliant with all applicant tracking, interviewing and hiring best practices, policies and laws
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
- 0-3 Years of Recruiting Experience or Stryker applicable experience; Recruiting experience strongly preferred
-Must live near a Stryker divisional office in the US
Must be able to manage time, projects, stress, and conflict
Must possess strong interpersonal skills, including both oral and written communication
Must be able to multitask and bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision
Must be able to negotiate effectively
Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time
Possess basic understanding of the use of recruiting tools such as Gallup profiles, Performance Profiles and Behavioral Interviewing
Must be able to effectively communicate in a variety of ways
Must be able to generate, understand and explain detailed company policies and procedures
Must be able to resolve both routine and non-routine human resource and business issues
Ability to prioritize work and keep detailed, accurate, and confidential information and records
Must be able to operate common office equipment
