Aspirus Keweenaw is currently seeking a REGISTERED NURSE in Laurium, Michigan to work in Wound Care at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital. The Aspirus Keweenaw Wound Center provides full service comprehensive outpatient and inpatient wound care. Advanced treatment modalities include: compression therapy, pressure mapping, total contact casting, biologically engineered skin substitutes, and wound VAC therapy.
- Assists in the delivery of health care of patients including maintenance of clinical record/documentation.
- Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for medical staff.
- Makes decisions consistent with organization policies.
- Observes strict confidentiality of patient information.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a nursing program.
- Possesses an active Michigan RN nursing license.
- Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
- CWCN certification through WOCN desired or required to obtain within 3 years of hire.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, critical thinking and customer service skills.
Hours: This position is Full Time; 1.0 FTE or 40 hours per week. Day shift. Full time benefits package available.
