Opportunity
Our Fortune 500 client is looking for a Technical Analyst to join their team in Detroit, MI. This position ensures the reliability and stability of desktop productivity and also print platforms and applications. The Technical Analyst will complete technical tasks (design, install and implementation of systems), lead projects, troubleshoot issues, liaison between department and internal clients, as well as research and implement new methods and systems to support the endpoint experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for working with multiple teams to deliver upgrades, updates, patches, and deployment of new and existing enterprise applications (e.g. Java, Antivirus, Internet Explorer, etc.)
- Be able to design, configure, install and implement printing solutions, MAC solutions, desktop productivity platforms and applications.
- Perform, test, and oversee upgrades to new versions of Microsoft Office and Operating Systems as needed and/or required.
- Communicate endpoint technology trends, issues, and outages to management and peers, including making recommendations for desktop productivity applications and upgrades.
- Work with IT Business Relationship Management teams to help design and deliver endpoint desktop productivity applications solutions.
- Provide documentation, training and knowledge transfer to Level 1 and 2 Endpoint staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT.
- 5 years of relevant technical work experience.
- Experience with scripting using Powershell and vbscript, Active Directory, and desktop productivity applications.
- MCSE or MCSA are a plus.

- $92K - $102K Annually ($46 - $51 per hour), dependent on experience.
