Position Summary
Conducts sales calls on local, family owned businesses for the goal of selling burial caskets. Builds relationships with customers through route planning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Directly manages burial products through day-to-day targeting, soliciting, and closing of new business through cold calling and leveraging existing customers
* Follows established procedures and guidelines to promote and sell the organizations products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to achieve sales targets and promotion program objectives
* Identifies customer’s basic needs through the use of effective selling practices
* Identifies objections and removes barriers for customers; Resolves customer issues directly and/or by coordinating with other functional areas
* Uses basic computer skills; Maintains call records and account status in CRM and reporting customer feedback
* Maintains communications with sales manager on customer related concerns/opportunities
* Quotes prices and credit terms for customers
* Leads collection efforts as needed.
