- Analyze existing operating methods and initiate and develop new methods to improve cost and product quality such as processes and yield monitor with KPI.
- Incorporate root cause analysis and verify that corrective action is implemented.
- Apply 6 Sigma methodology for problem-solving. Analyze costs and develop cost reduction while contributing to the plan-30 according to the group standards
- Design and implement efficient workflow and layout, utilizing SolidWorks.
- Design tooling and assist with the development of quality testing procedures.
- Design, Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot automated equipment.
- Train operators on efficient processes and continuous improvement methodology.
- Possess best practices knowledge in 5S+1, value stream analysis (VSA) and value stream mapping (VSM), Kaizen, PDCA, Poka-Yoke, single minute exchange of dies (SMED), PFMEA, and so on.
- Apply and enforce the safety rules and procedures
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering
- Ability to clearly communicate ideas, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated experience in Lean & 6 Sigma methodology for organizational improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating multi-team environments required.
- Experience with SolidWorks & MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
