Description
Our client is seeking an Accounting Specialist for a long-term temporary opportunity supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This role will be responsible for handling a mix of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and journal entries within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and post journal entries
Support general accounting operations and daily financial activities
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Assist with additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
Previous experience with AP, AR, and general accounting functions
Experience with reconciliations and journal entries
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
