Associate Operations Specialist
This Associate Operations Specialist is responsible for receiving, storing, packaging, cycle counts, and shipping with the utmost Inventory Integrity possible. They will need to be a self-starter able to balance the need for rapid delivery, with the attention to detail, required to meet Curvature's world class standards and procedures. Additionally, the Associate Operations Specialist will need to possess the ability to meet the needs of multiple customers with diverse requirements in a dynamic environment
What you'll be doing:
Receive, package, store, and ship products to all order specifications
Properly rebin equipment to appropriate locations within the distribution centers
Complete proper and efficient testing of all incoming gear by using testing platforms
Tech logging all testing output into our ERP systems
Interface with shipping, receiving, repair, order management, inventory, sales and sparing
Answer phone or visitor messages and delivers to appropriate individual
Accurately input information into ERP system (SAP and Oracle)
Perform daily Cycle Counts on all areas of Distribution
Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work space
Compose and type routine correspondence and memoranda using Word processing software
Perform other related duties as required
Prioritize sales orders according to ship method
Establish priorities, work independently and as part of a team, and proceed with objectives without supervision
Coordinate day to day work
Possess wide knowledge in multiple Operation Departments
Ability to relate day-to-day work to business priorities
Communicate sales order and/or purchase order discrepancies to Transaction Coordinators
Reconcile inventory discrepancies as needed
What we are looking for:
1 year of modern warehouse procedures and methods including telephone communications, office systems, and record keeping
2 years of relevant industry experience within supply chain distribution or equivalent
Must be able to lift, push, carry, or pull up to 65 pounds or more, and be able to bend, kneel, and work with arms raised for prolonged periods
Bonus:
Knowledge of modern business communication, specifically electronic communication
Ability to use a personal computer and various software packages including skills in Microsoft Suite
Ability to accurately follow instructions and retain technical information quickly
Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environment
Proven organizational skills
Demonstrate teaming behaviors including effective communication skills (via face-to-face, email, and telephone)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
