Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a technology-driven organization, is seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst. This role is responsible for analyzing large-scale file share environments, coordinating with business stakeholders to validate data ownership and access, and organizing data for an upcoming infrastructure migration. The ideal candidate will blend data analysis, technical understanding, and stakeholder engagement to drive a complex data cleanup initiative.
Job Duties:
- Analyze large-scale file share environments to assess data usage, ownership, and structure
- Partner with business stakeholders to validate file ownership, access permissions, and data relevance
- Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams to review directories and drive cleanup decisions
- Identify and eliminate redundant, outdated, or unused data across multiple environments
- Organize and categorize data to support migration to a future-state platform
- Generate and interpret data reports using Excel, SQL, or similar tools
- Collaborate with IT teams to extract, validate, and refine infrastructure data sets
- Develop documentation, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making and governance
Skills Required:
- Experience in Business Systems Analysis, Technical Analysis, or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and advanced data manipulation
- Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis using SQL or similar tools
- Understanding of file storage systems (e.g., NAS environments)
- Must have Active Directory groups and access management concepts experience
- Experience reviewing, validating, and organizing complex data sets for business use
- Ability to identify data trends, inconsistencies, and outliers
- Familiarity with infrastructure or enterprise IT environments
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization and reporting
