Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Resident Project Representative / Construction Manager to support a growing engineering consulting client in Detroit, MI. This individual will represent the owner and design team on active construction projects and will be responsible for full-time, on-site construction management and resident engineering inspection services.
This role requires strong field experience, the ability to interpret design documents, coordinate with contractors and clients, manage change, and ensure construction quality and compliance across water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Yearly salary from $88,000 - $120,000.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors of Science in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering or; a degree in Construction Management.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Construction Management
Must be comfortable working in confined spaces
Needs Owners Rep Experience supporting commercial or industrial projects - Experience supervising or mentoring construction inspectors or junior construction management staff
Prior work on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects
Experience with commissioning, testing, and startup of treatment or process systems
Familiarity with pipeline, pump station, and treatment facility construction
Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies and public stakeholders
Background performing constructability reviews during design or pre-construction phases
Experience managing punch lists, deficiencies, and closeout documentation
Previous owner's representative or consultant-side construction management experience
