Job Details

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Set Up & Operation – Preparing CNC machines by loading raw materials, installing tools, and calibrating equipment.
• Programming – Will train to translate engineering drawings into software programs or interpret pre-existing CAD/CAM files.
• Quality Inspection – Using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
• Troubleshooting – Monitoring machines for malfunctions, adjusting speed/feed rates, and replacing worn tools to maintain quality.
• Maintenance – Performing routine maintenance on machines and maintaining a clean workspace.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Knowledge – Proficient in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Optional: Software Proficiency – Familiarity with CAM software and CNC controllers.
• Mathematical Skills – Strong understanding of shop math, algebra, and geometry.
• Physical Stamina – Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy materials, and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Education/Experience – High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training and years of CNC machining experience.
