Quantum Mental Health Wellness Center is seeking experienced 1099 Phlebotomists / Specimen Collection Specialists to provide professional specimen collection services in accordance with established protocols, privacy standards, and chain-of-custody requirements.
This role is collection-only and does not include laboratory testing, analysis, diagnosis, or interpretation of results. Services are provided in partnership with accredited laboratories and compliance administrators.
Responsibilities

Perform specimen collection procedures according to approved protocols

Verify participant identity using government-issued identification

Maintain accurate chain-of-custody documentation

Prepare specimens for secure transport or courier pickup

Follow confidentiality and HIPAA requirements

Provide mobile or on-site collections when assignments are accepted

Maintain a professional and respectful environment for all participants
Minimum Qualifications

Phlebotomy training or specimen collection experience

Ability to follow detailed written procedures and protocols

Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Professional demeanor suitable for community, employer, and agency settings

Reliable transportation for mobile work (if accepted)
Required Before Contracting
Compensation (1099 – Per Service)
Estimated Yearly Earnings (Not Guaranteed)
Based on availability and volume of assignments accepted:

Part-time / PRN: $15,000–$25,000 per year

Moderate volume: $35,000–$50,000 per year

High availability / mobile: $75,000–$100,000+ per year
Earnings vary and are dependent on the number of assignments accepted. No guaranteed income.
Independent Contractor Status
This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors:
