?Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring a Human Resources Manager for our RiteCare Evening Learning Centers spread across Michigan?
At Rite Care, we will be providing after-school intervention to at-risk youth. Students will report to the ELC to participate in evidence-based groups, skill building, tutoring, mentoring case management and other structured activities during the time of day that is the highest risk for anti-social behaviors. Rite Care will operate as a diversion program for youth at risk of becoming involved in the Juvenile Justice System, or those who are currently involved and need additional community support.
Pay: starting at $60-65k/year

What you will do: The RiteCare Human Resources Manager is primarily responsible for the oversight of all the HR functions for the 4 programs in Michigan, to ensure that the Human Resources goals and objectives are met. The HR Manager reports to the National Director of RiteCare and their District Human Resources Director. This position does not directly manage any employees. Travel for this position is required.
To be considered you should:
Have Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business or related field and two years of Human Resources experience; or six years of equivalent experience as a Human Resources Generalist may be substituted. Master's degree, certification and/or PHR are preferred.
Minimum of two years of Human Resources experience in employee relations, training and/or employment.
Knowledge of Federal and State employment law, Human Resources policies and practices and governmental licensing requirements.
Successful management experience required.
Good interpersonal skills including the ability to interview potential employees if required.
Be able to pass a criminal background check, child abuse registry, drug screen, physical, and TB test
