Job Summary Details:
The Floor Technician is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of all floor surfaces in a facility, including hard floors and carpets. This role involves operating floor care equipment, performing routine and deep cleaning, and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for staff, clients, and visitors.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
No experience required and on the job training provided
No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and buff hard surface floors using industrial equipment.
Vacuum, shampoo, and extract carpets and rugs.
Operate and maintain floor care machines such as buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers, and extractors.
Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and storage areas.
Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed.
Follow facility policies and procedures, including infection control and sanitation standards.
