Job Overview for
We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join a precision machining team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and setting up CNC lathes to produce high-quality components to tight tolerances. This is a hands-on role in a well-established manufacturing environment with opportunities for growth and cross-training.
Key Responsibilities for CNC Machinist:
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce metal components per engineering specifications
- Interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments
- Make necessary offsets and tool changes to maintain part quality
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Document production data and adhere to quality control standards
Qualifications CNC Machinist:
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of G-code and machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Familiarity with quality inspection tools and procedures
- Good math and problem-solving skills
