Employee Relations & Compliance
- Participates in employee relations activities including disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations while regularly reviews and updates policies and practices.
- Supports with data collection and reporting for compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action (AA), Department of Labor (DOL) and other regulatory requirements.
- Advises leadership on employee relations matters, providing policy interpretation and recommendations consistent with hospital policies and standards.
Project Management & HR Operations
- Leads and supports HR projects and initiatives, including organization-wide rollouts and training sessions. Participates in HR related surveys (e.x. compensation, benefits, antidiscrimination, turnover).
- Collaborates with HR leadership to standardize and continuously improve HR processes and procedures.
- Conducts internal and external analyzes to compare the organizational HR practices with market standards.
- Provides cross-functional HR support and may serve as backup for specialized HR functions across system campuses.

Customer Service Responsibilities
Demonstrate excellent customer service and standards of behaviors as well as encourages, coaches, and monitors the same in team members. This individual should consistently promote teamwork and direct communication with co-workers and deal discretely and sensitively with confidential information.
Responsibilities in Quality Improvement
Contribute by identifying problems and seeking solutions. Promote patient/family satisfaction where possible; participates in departmental efforts to monitor and report customer service.
Compensation: Starts at $59,696.00/annually, based on years of experience
Essential Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field or at least 3 years of experience in HR functions or comparable experience.
- Strong Microsoft office skills and experience with HRIS systems.
- Knowledge of employment law, with excellent organizational, time management and decision-making skills
- Patient, pleasant, and understanding, with the ability to remain calm and diffuse tense situations.
- Ability to handle sensitive and highly personal information daily while maintaining confidentiality in a mature and non-judgmental manner.
- Possesses a high degree of emotional intelligence to apply to all interactions and monitor employee engagement levels.
