Wellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join our team at the Frankenmuth Skilled Nursing and Rehab Campus. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents, staff and visitors, supporting the health and wellbeing of everyone on campus through high-quality housekeeping and laundry services.
Responsibilities
As a Housekeeper with Wellspring, you will:
- Follow cleaning schedules in accordance with Standard Precautions, hazardous waste handling, and cleaning agent use policies and procedures.
- Clean assigned areas, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, trash cans, furnishings and fixtures such as furniture, floors, walls, sills, closets and doors, according to established housekeeping procedures.
- Empty wastebaskets in bathrooms, resident rooms and common areas as directed, replacing with a clean plastic bag and one extra bag at the bottom of the wastebasket.
- Clean general common areas, dining spaces, offices and employee areas according to the assignment schedule.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Prior housekeeping or laundry experience (preferred but not required).
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
- Reliable, detail-oriented and committed to teamwork.
- Compassion for seniors and a dedication to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Schedule and Compensation
- Employment type: Part-time, 24 hours per week on Day Shift (7:00am – 3:00pm)
- Weekends: Every other weekend rotation
- Pay Rate: $14.50 / hour
